Brief Description
Join us on September 19, 2010 for the 2nd Annual Great Prostate Cancer Challenge® in Kansas City to benefit ZERO — The Project to End Prostate Cancer.
In our inaugural race, last year, we donated $10,000 to ZERO and $5,000 to the Kansas City Prostate Cancer Foundation.
We are passionate about prostate cancer! We are dedicated to helping fund research and educating the Kansas City Metropolitan area about prostate cancer.
Help us make this passion come true. Sign up today to run or walk. Click here to download the GPCC – Kansas City 2010 brochure (PDF).

The Great Prostate Cancer Challenge® is the only physician-based prostate cancer awareness and fund-raising program in the country.

Course
Patients with cancer face many challenges and obstacles while coping with their illness. In designing our course we believe we have developed a challenging but fair 5K course starting and ending
at our prostate cancer center. The course includes a downhill run going North on Nall from 107th Street to the Overland Park Trail; runners will then head East along the trail to Roe Park; make the Roe Park
loop and head back to the prostate cancer center. The return trip from Roe Park includes an uphill run, designed to help people understand and remember the challenges that cancer patients
go through during their fight. Even when you are tired, there are still uphill battles in life.
Scoring & Timing
The scoring and timing will be provided by RaceDay Timing Solutions, using the ChronoTrack System.
