ChronoTrack Timing and Scoring
Transponder timing operated by Capital Running Company will be used to score the 10K race. The system uses a computer tag which must be tied to each runners' shoelaces, and records the exact time a runner crosses the starting line and the finish line, resulting in a net time for each runner. Overall awards will be based upon clock time and age group awards will be based upon transponder times.
Hazardous Weather
While every effort will be made to conduct the event, the race will be cancelled if the weather is judged to be hazardous to the safety of participants and spectators. Entry fees will not be refunded if the event is cancelled.
